The Norse Hus at Twain Harte, CA

This year we had 7 snow plants at the Norse Hus. Such an allusive plant. Many years of none, then 7 in one year.

On your next visit to the Norse Hus you will enjoy a brand new gourmet kitchen! This remodel opens up the kitchen to the adjacent den and will now be the heart of the house. We still have one more cabinet to add this month, but otherwise we are finished with the project.

An update for Friends of The Norse Hus. Kitchen remodel is underway! Your next visit to the Norse Hus will be to a brand new modern kitchen. The last kitchen was from 1973, and served our family and guests well. But now it’s time for an upgrade. Stay tuned.

Woo Hoo! Ski season starts on December the 21st for Twain Harte!!

4 bedroom, 3 bath, in 2 stories: * UPPER (MAIN) FLOOR: Large living room, den with fireplace, large kitchen, dining room, "Bear's Lair" master bedroom (which includes a private full master bath and private deck), laundry room, 2nd full bath, and main deck access. * LOWER FLOOR: Three bedrooms: "Troll Room," "Bunk House," "Wine Cave,"; 3rd bath; and large family room with foosball table and pellet stove.... * LARGE DECK. The deck is accessible from the upper level of the house, and is a wrap-around deck with furniture and barbecue for summer entertaining. The deck also has a large hammock to doze on while listening to the creek. The Norse Hus is not a sterile income property, but our private vacation home and comes with personal touches that we hope makes your stay in Twain Harte more enjoyable.
