The next "Marilyn Moment" I was fifteen and My Mother went to a psychic and the FIRST thing she asked my Mom was "Who is Kip??", then is he Married? (lol), then "well he'll fall in love with a red head named Patricia or Marilyn!" Norma Jeane was a natural red head!
So I was 14 when I first saw this picture on the cover of Life magazine, 20 years after her death, Life published Bert Stern's "Last Sitting" photographs that were shot for Vogue. I only have one other recollection of seeing her prior to this, inside the cover of the double lp "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" by Elton John, for the "Candle in the Wind" lyrics. I was mesmerized and a life long devotion and appreciation of a woman who died six years before I was born in 1968.
