Under the Hood of our 1950 Pirsch Firetruck is a Hall Scott Inline 6 Cylinder Gasoline Engine

The latest arrival at the NCMT is our 1950 Pirsch 85ft ladder firetruck it will be a cosmetic restoration for now and next year with be Waving Old Glory at our site property 85ft up in the air. honoring our First Responders.

Friday we moved one of our ex Southern Pacific Railroad trailer train semi trailer's to our museum property,with one of our members Historic 1958 Peterbilt Semi Truck,this enables us to have more storage and keep moving forward with projects.

Our work day yesterday saw the arrival of a 3ft gauge Leslie Salt side dump car.This is our first piece of narrow gauge equipment to be at our Museum Property with many more to arrive in the future.

Unloaded our V-16 71 Series Detroit Diesel off the flatbed trailer last work day.This diesel engine was used in a EMD E-8 for HEP to power the Passenger cars ,On the CNW Chicago North Western Railroad.

The newest locomotive to arrive at NCMT,ex U.S Army ML8 Plymouth gas mechanical locomotive.this is owned by one of our fellow members Brett Tallman and will begin restoration this summer.

Oroville is home to several historic things,One being it's State Theatre and the Mighty Wulitizer Pipe Organ they have been hard at work reinstalling into the Theatre the past couple of years.

Ex Blake Brothers Quarry Whitcomb locomotive from Point Richmond,Ca visiting our museum in Oroville,Ca before it heads to its new home at the Western Pacfic Railroad Museum in Portola,Ca as a display at the town's visitor center.
