Just an FYI in case you're fretting about this... and there is nothing else I would read in that community journal.
Why do I prefer reconstructed belly buttons over keeping your natural one with tummy tucks? There are very many but the most convincing is that a reconstructed belly button can often look much more natural than the native belly button or the tummy tuck belly button that is constricted and often vertically oriented. And when muscles are plicated, the belly button gets deep, very deep! And you will NOT be able to clean it out. Its really scary what can grow down there! There are other aesthetic reasons but I know I can make you a belly button where you want it and that it will look great.
We are happy to provide RF microneedling. Its safe, effective, and reliable in producing outcomes. The downside, it takes 3 sessions to achieve the result that you get from one laser procedure but you don't have to deal with any prolonged redness, pigment changes, or scarring. This is done with topical anesthetic supplemented with local injections as indicated by the patient's needs. Contact us to schedule your consultation.
There is a study currently ongoing where patients who claim BII and have their capsules removed (in addition to the implants) are evaluating the removed capsules for silicone and the presence of heavy metals as this is the basis for the BII argument that implants are causing their problems. Currently, there are only subjective studies that support BII written by surgeons who are charging these women a lot of money to do their 'en bloc' removal of their capsules. More to come next year!
This is a poorly designed study and doesn't prove anything except that patients that feel their implants are causing their symptoms may feel better after the implant and capsule is removed. This questionnaire has been crucified in objective medical discussion sites with the only supporters being those surgeons who are recommending 'en bloc' excisions at significant costs when a simple explant and capsulectomy would suffice. What is really unclear is why are women with salin...e implants complaining of the same symptoms and that is where the proof becomes harder and harder to find. The surgeon here charges thousands of dollars to remove the scar tissue and her patients all are convinced they have breast implant illness. That some of them will feel better is guaranteed by the simple act of removing the source of their concerns. Ask them to show a link with symptoms and they simply shrug their shoulders. Some women with horrible capsules certainly can be symptomatic but most patients have tissue paper thin capsules and cannot be removed 'en bloc', yet this surgeon clams that she gets out every bit of capsule, which is nearly impossible to do when the implants are under the muscle. Frankly I'm tired of seeing everything that is not equal attributed to race and the color of one's skin. Though there may be truth to the headlines, what are the real causes? Without poring through the details of how they arrived at this opinion, I suspect much of this delay has to do with what kind of insurance that patient has rather than the colro of one's skin. They will argue that more minorities are on Medi-Cal (ie: Medicaid) and while true, that is the real problem ...rather than the color of their skin. Doctors are mostly color blind when it comes to treating patients but the type of insurance one has dictates more what kind of treatment you will get. The same headlines about COVID impacting minorities more, while true, is misleading because minorities are usually less healthy at older ages (the susceptible group) and its their health issues, and not the color of their skin, that makes them more at risk. Academicians and journalists really should report the WHOLE story rather than just the tidbits they want to pass on to the masses. See more
This has promise but it doesn't say how much it costs... but the technology is supposed to be beneficial. Stay on the lookout for when its introduced widely.
This is one of the more challenging procedures to achieve a 'perfect' outcome as there are so many variables involved with redoing this procedure. My ultimate goal is to have the best outcome possible and if not, that is what our revision policy addresses so your costs are limited when having this procedure done. You want a surgeon that will work with you to achieve the best outcome and not one that is more interested in what fees are generated.
Just an FYI... medicine is not as glamorous as it was but I cannot complain from my own experience. It has been an amazing journey and there is tons of satisfaction you can get from happy patients that know you really care about them!
For those seeking more info about recovery from my most common procedure... but still in the end, everyone is different and some fly through this and others limp along. The goal is to get you off narcotics as soon as possible and for you to be as active as you can (without bouncing or straining). The site where this is from (www.realself.com) used to provide services to doctors in exchange for decades of wisdom and sage advice. Now they want to charge a lot to keep participating so I have stopped answering questions on their site.
What they don't include is myellevate (a suture system that elevates the neck), Renuvion (plasma energy to tighten the skin), or RF Microneedling (which we have just acquired). RF Microneedling can be applied to any skin type and has minimal downtime... but it does take up to 3 sessions to appreciate the improvement. It works on the fine wrinkles of the arm and hands as well. We will have an announcement when we are up and running with that device. AND please ALWAYS ask for warranties when someone is telling you that their machine can do this and that. You want to know what the deal if that machine doesn't do anything as I'm a firm believer that a consumer should never have an empty bag after spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Think 'liquid facelift' or Ultherapy that are not every effective but quite costly.
I think we have gone crazy with PC junk. I find nothing, absolutely nothing offensive about other ethnic groups wanting to have a little slant to their eyes. If anything, I think it more complementary of the Oriental (is that racist to use still? But I'm Asian so I can) culture. Now there is a clear difference between mocking versus emulating. These stupid pics below would be considered mocking but a little eyeliner and makeup creating a slant is emulating and flattering.
Life can get better if your labia are in the way... and we can do it for some of the absolute best prices in the country. You still get our warranty for satisfaction and can save oodles over what they charge in the big cities. You can check affordablelabiaplasty.com for more information and photos.
