In order to reach as many people in our community during this time of crisis, United Way of Merced County has partnered with Merced County Food Bank in order he...lp those in our county that need it most. By pulling together partnerships with the Merced County Food Bank, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and Merced County, we are launching our program to deliver food to homebound older adults (60 and up) throughout the county, as well as partnering in other food programs with the Food Bank's pantry partners. The Merced D Street shelter is in need of supplies as well as The Merced Rescue Mission. If you have a business or know someone who does and they are closed we could use toiletries and cleaning supplies. If there are restaurants needing to get rid of food we could use that as well. Please spread the word.

This Saturday 11/3, SSG and friends help host a fundraiser for our friend, Kathy Smith. Please join us for a rigatoni dinner from 4 pm-7 pm at OLM. Dine-in or take-out for $10. Tickets can be purchased at the event. CASH only. We hope to see you there!
