We've had good, and we've had not good. These folks were really good, probably the best all-around we've ever had. Jack did our quote. He was surprisingly quick about it, but very thorough, taking time to talk through different scenarios with us. Emily was our contact at th...e office, and she was always pleasant to deal with and on top of what was going on, including some scheduling changes. Jared led the crew that packed and loaded us. He paid close attention during the walk-through, then asked questions as we went along to make sure he was remembering correctly. He was about as careful with our things as we are, and we are pretty particular. Raul and Saul helped pack, and they were similarly careful. Jared and Raul were joined by Kyle and Mike on day 2 to load into PODS units. Again, everyone was similarly careful, and they all worked very well together. From Joe who gave me the quote for the job, Emily and Ashley at the local office who fielded my anxious phone calls (a big move is very anxiety inducing...and prepare for major *sticker shock!), to the crews led Andy in CA & John in SC, they were all very good at their respective jobs. Polite, professional, and... boy howdy... they know how to hustle when it came to loading and unloading the moving van! We don’t anticipate ever having to do a big move like this again, but if you are looking for a great company to handle your move from Southern California to where ever life takes you, I give them my enthusiastic & unqualified endorsement. 5 stars and 2 big thumbs up! * Note on the sticker shock. I got a few quotes for this move, and while NMS was not the cheapest they were absolutely the most thorough & accurate in the estimate process. The others were vague and iffy on fees for details of our move, and I felt like there would Surprise! You owe more than we originally quoted you moments at the back end. With NMS I had no uneasy feelings. Additionally the total price ended up being about $1500 LESS than expected. So the sticker shock is just the cost of moving a life and household of over 40 years from one end of the country to the other. Unavoidable in our case. And we had a lot of stuff." See more

He was engaging and factually informative with no over-promising. Can't say enough good about Mike Cochran. Presented himself and his crew on both ends in professional attire and took care of business very confidently and competently.
