Last Friday, I received a call that our services were needed for a wedding that was to take place the very next day. A wonderful 17 year old woman wanted to experience what it was like to get married, and her best friend offered to marry her. Within 24 hours, I was able to pull together my crew to help cover this wedding. Every one of them donated their time and skills, and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate their kindness and generosity.... Saturday came, and it was a whirlwind of excitement, frenzied energy, happiness, eagerness, and celebration. It truly was a wedding! It was a picture perfect day - probably a perfect day to get married on the beach. The sun was out, it wasn’t too hot, the wind barely blew, and the ceremony on the sand was waiting for two best friends. Throughout the day, I felt I was witnessing something special. It wasn’t a last wishit was a day of unconditional love. The bride was surrounded by her family and friends, and it was so evident how much they cared for her. They were there to celebrate and help her create priceless memories. Every single step, she had someone by her side. Love followed her, every step of the way. Please take some time to tell someone that you love them, that you appreciate them, and that you value them. Life is too short - focus on the positivity and wonderful moments.
