Long standing local events are finally scheduled to return to Tahoe City this summer, signaling a return to normal for visitors and locals alike.

We’ve had an extraordinary response from our community, from folks volunteering to help build the garden and from those wishing to rent a bed, project lead and Slow Food Lake Tahoe Board member Patti Taggart said.

The Tahoe Donner Association, along with other businesses in the Truckee region, continues to be challenged in finding housing for our workforce. With a partnership through Landing Locals, The Town of Truckee is offering a one-time grant for up to $3,000 to property owners who convert their homes to a rental property for local employees.
