NEW FEEDBACK POLL: Kids have been forced out of the classroom toward an online format for virtual learning due to the coronavirus pandemic. Mental health expert...s say the switch is causing a sharp increase in depression in adolescents and teens. A September study by the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma found more than half of the kids surveyed had thoughts of suicide or self-harm. In fact, 11 to 17-year-olds were more likely than any other age group to experience symptoms of anxiety and depression during the pandemic.
