"Enhancing mental and behavioral health is a critical part of military readiness; that’s the ultimate goal of our research in the Health and Behavioral Sciences Department. Stigma surrounding mental health services can discourage military personnel from seeking care. That’s why we’re developing a video intervention to demystify the treatment process and options available to service members." Suzanne Hurtado... It's National Coffee Day! Did you know: Genetic, physical, and behavioral factors influence how caffeine works in each person's system, so we all process it a little differently. Most of the caffeine in your coffee is absorbed by your body within the first 30-60 minutes, but it is much slower to leave your system - 1/4 of the caffeine you drink in the morning can still be in your system 10-12 hr later. Experts recommend not drinking any caffeine in the 8 hr (or more) before bed.
