Join us for our 37th Annual Charity Golf Classic on August 30th at TPC Stonebrae in the beautiful Hayward hills. Each foursome will be captained by an NFL Alumni, a current player or a local celebrity. The winning team will go to the Super Bowl of Golf to be held on October 22, 2022 at Mission Inn in Florida. Food and refreshments will be available before and during the tournament. At the tournament’s end, there will be a hosted cocktail reception followed by an exciting auct...ion and our Award Banquet Dinner honoring this year’s, NFL Alumni - Northern California Chapter's Honorees Raiders’ Tom Flores and San Francisco 49ers Allan Kennedy. A native of Napa, #CalBears and #49ers 6th-round pick in the 1989 NFL Draft, he was a member of the Super Bowl XXIV Championship Team. On this day, 39 years ago ~ #TheCatch, the winning touchdown reception in the 1981 NFC Championship Game played between the #Cowboys & #49ers at #CandlestickPark on January 10, 1982, as part of the 198182 #NFL playoffs following the 1981 NFL season. With 58 seconds left in the game and the 49ers facing 3rd-and-3, 49ers’ Dwight Clark made a leaping grab in the back of the end zone to complete a 6-yard touchdown pass from Joe Montana, enabling the 49ers to defeat the Cowboys, 2827. The Catch is widely regarded as one of the most memorable events in NFL history. The game represented the end of the Cowboys' domination in the NFC since the conference's inception in 1970, and the beginning of the 49ers' rise as an NFL dynasty in the 1980s. #NFLAlumni #NorCalChapter

The NorCal Chapter sends our deepest condolences to the Louderback family on the passing of Tom Louderback on Tuesday. He was the oldest living member of the 1960 team at the time of his passing. He had a five-year professional career as both a linebacker and as an offensive lineman.
