This morning's 6th Annual Building Community Breakfast at the SRJC Petaluma campus was an amazing event. Thank you to #Petaluma native, Ali Afshar, for being th...is year's featured speaker at this annual breakfast put on by the Friends of the Petaluma Campus Trust. We heard opening remarks from Superintendent/President of the Santa Rosa Junior College, Dr. Frank Chong and a "State of the Petaluma Campus" talk by Vice President, SRJC Petaluma, Jane Saldana-Talley. We also had a faculty speaker, Michael Traina, from the film & media studies area along w/ a student experiences from student film directors Miles Levin & Louie Poore. Thank you to all of those that made this event such as a success and in support of the gem we have in our community that is the SRJC Petaluma Campus. And special thanks to Petaluma City Councilmember and FPTC member Gabe Kearney for his fundraising support for this worthy cause. See more
