It’s always a pleasure to work at the iconic Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. Every angle is perfection and the view to the ocean from the ballroom is like nothing else in Southern California. It was a supreme honor to photograph the branding images of Katrina S. L. Centeno-Nguyen and event details of the 12th Anniversary Party of Calligraphy Katrina, a dear friend and partner of the Next Exit Photography studio. Katrina spoiled us to an entire day of food, friendship and fun. The lunch at Chateau Marmont was a delight and the dinner at Hanare Japanese restaurant was equally spectacular. When we photographed this wedding a few years back, we had no idea that every comedic icon who we’d ever obsessed over would be in attendance. Jay Leno and Bill Maher gave the wedding toasts?! Marc Shaimen on piano? Larry David being, Larry David?! What would you pay to be in that room! But what made this magical wedding most special was this perfect couple and their wonderful son who will be Bar Mitzvahed tomorrow afternoon!
