Things are starting to come together!! Pageant sign ups have been coming in. Booth Application Packets & Parade Registration forms are being put together. Sign ups for the Bake Off contest, Volleyball, Corn Hole, & Softball tournaments are coming soon. Park entertainment is being scheduled. Stay tuned for more info!!

We have pageant updates for those that may be interested in applying. To sign up for the Little Mr and Little Miss Newman pageant, look for this ad with the rest of the application in the West Side Index or the Tuesday Review. Mail in your application along with the $25 registration fee. The first 8 of each for Mr. and Miss by order of postmark will be signed up to participate. All others will be refunded. Please contact pageant coordinators Yaya or Zoe Muñoz at 209-695-9991 to pick up a Miss Newman application or for any questions.

Hello Newman! We are establishing a new Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Newman Fall Festival organization. The Board of Directors consists of at least 5 directors and we are in need of 3 more directors. An Executive Committee will then be nominated and elected from the Board of Directors. If you are interested in serving on the Board and/or the Executive Committee, please fill out this volunteer form. If you have helped lead an event like the Softball Tour...nament, Bake off or Miss Newman on the General Committee in the past, please still fill out this volunteer form so we have your contact information. For those who have expressed interest in volunteering, please fill out this volunteer form so we can have a master list. We don't know yet how Newman Fall Festival will look like this year due to COVID, but we are excited to start planning and look forward to working together as a community to continue the family fun traditions of our Newman Fall Festival. Ok friends, I'm reading a lot of posts about how sad we all are that the Fall Festival was canceled this year! I AGREE!!! I want you to remember this feeling!!! If you want us to come back next year, bigger and better, WE NEED YOU!! Please message me... VOLUNTEER! We literally pulled off last year with a skeleton crew... and I think we did a pretty good job! Believe me when I say it wasn't easy!!! The more people that help the better!!! This is a community event! It takes a community to make it EPIC!! Plus it's fun!!! Together we can do this! OK, FRIENDS OF THE FALL FESTIVAL! We all probably saw this coming, but it is now official... 2020 50th FF is canceled . I heard from the city of Newman who got the news from the County Health Officer. We will continue to BE a committee, we will continue to plan, we will continue to look for more help! We will be back next year, hopefully. These are crazy times and I know we will get thru them as a community!!! NEWMAN STRONG!!!
