NPSC Family, Friends, and Community Members: The Alvaro Cortes family needs your help. Last week, Coach Alvaro (NPSC Lightning 2010) was diagnosed with leukemia and immediately hospitalized. He has since been transferred to City of Hope where he is seeking treatment. Coach Alvaro is the main provider for his family. He was already out of work due to the covid-19 pandemic and now the financial stress will be even greater as he is unable to work while undergoing treatment. L...et’s show Coach Alvaro and his family some NPSC love and help lighten some of the financial burden so Coach Alvaro and his family can focus on his battle against cancer. Please keep the Cortes family in your thoughts and prayers. His oldest daughter, Kassandra, plays for the NPSC Vipers (G2005) and NPHS and his youngest, Camilla, plays for Lightning (G2010).
