New American Writing (Magazine) 27.06.2021

This year's issue of New American Writing is at the printer, and we will be celebrating it on the literary website LitBalm, which will stream live on Facebook this Saturday, May 30, at 5-6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The featured poets will be Alexandria Peary, Maria Baranda, and yours truly, Paul Hoover. Go to their main page, www.litbalm.org, for the Zoom and Facebook links. Maria Baranda, winner of numerous literary awards in Mexico, including the distinguished Aguascalientes Prize, will be reading in Spanish from her book-length poem, Arcadia, with accompanying English translation. Thanks to co-publisher Marc Vincenz for the book design and Mexican artist Magali Lara for the cover art, Tormenta, 2009.
