When Adam and Katie Pinck decides to remodel their 1970s era kitchen, they reached out to us for help. We gutted the old kitchen and created a brand new look for the space with white Shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, Bedrosian tile backsplash, and a wet bar! The two were thrilled with the results . It has been one year since the Camp Fire swept through Butte County. Though tragic, the disaster has brought our community together like never before. We’re proud to be a part of the efforts to rebuild what people lost throughout our county and look forward to the healing this next year will bring.

Continuing with last week's throwback to October 2017, we remodeled the Markham's kitchen using NGY beechwood Shaker cabinets in an espresso finish. To meet the Markhams’ needs for extra space, a lazy Susan was installed, making a once hard-to-reach storage area finally accessible. For full use of their now ample storage, pull-out drawers were also added to the cabinets. Another kitchen element that received a facelift was the peninsula. Our team cut the 40-inch tall pony wal...l down 5 inches, which removed the counter bar and made it level. Their fluorescent lighting was tossed out, and five recessed lights were added alongside two decorative pendants over the peninsula for a more subtle look. Our tile expert, Victor Cabrera, installed a Bedrosian tile backsplash called kismet/serene. Lydia gravitated toward this style because the tile catches the light beautifully with a slight sparkle. The mixture of dark cabinets, warm hues in the tile, and white quartz creates a beautiful gradient. All new stainless steel fixtures and appliances completed the Markhams’ stylish new kitchen; best of all, it was completed in just one week. Most importantly, the Markhams couldn't be happier! We remodeled Pam and Mike Govea's kitchen in Oroville back in 2017, and they couldn't be happier with the results!
