The Underground Gold Miners Museum in Alleghany has a Collection by W.H. Weldon that has a lot of Grass Valley photos of the 1895 era including mines. It's a treasure trove, so I will probably be sharing quite a few of them. This photo is of Dorsey & Co's Team, photo taken by C.M. Weldon in 1895.

This is an interesting photo of a couple of players from the "Nevadas" Baseball team. We have no record of this team, and interestingly the glass plate negatives with this and other images were found in an attic of a building which housed "Moore Photo Studio" at some point in history. We believe these to be a local team, but have no direct confirmation. Does anyone have any information regarding the people in the photo or any information about the Nevadas Baseball team?
