Hello friends, I hope everyone is doing well, staying healthy and keeping your spirits high. I want to thank all of you who have supported local small businesses during these long months of much uncertainty. You've definitely kept my spirits high every time you pop in to say hello or do some good social-distanced design work to frame your artwork and precious memories. It's truly been a blessing and a joy for me (and my pups:) to get to know you. As you know, the frame shop i...s big enough to have safe social distancing and we are adhering and staying tuned to the state guidelines for retail stores in our area. Under the allowance, we've gone ahead and displayed the latest talent in our county. Here's the Hot off the Press-Release... It's sure to lift your spirits! I so look forward to seeing you. Be safe ~ Melissa "The Nevada County Camera Club is proud to host the Glories of Fall Color exhibit from December 5 through the end of January, 2021, at Nevada City Picture Framing and Restoration on Searls Ave in Nevada City. This show was initiated to brighten our outlook after months of Covid issues and quarantine. There are 26 framed photos to peruse and/or purchase. Photos range from realistic to abstract, all brilliant with the oranges, yellows and golds of fall color from many beautiful locations. We would like to thank Melissa Goldman, owner of Nevada City Picture Framing and Restoration for her enthusiasm as host for this exhibit! Melissa would also like to remind photographers and those seeking a special holiday gift, that a unique frame for a memorable photograph or artwork might be the perfect solution. But to get the framing done in time, photos or artwork should be brought in soon. Or you can purchase a gift certificate to complete the framing after the first of the year. And she reminds patrons, Let’s be safe - All must wear masks. Hello everyone, I hope you are all safe and well during the Jones Bar Fires. My husband and our dogs evacuated under orders late Monday. Because of the heat and smoke the shop will be closed until further notice. I will keep you posted. Be safe and well.
