Last Thursday’s meeting was extra special as we welcomed back founding member and president of Net Impact Cal Poly chapter, Christine Liu. Christine is a former Cisco employee where she turned her data driven job into a Packaging Sustainability role (a brand new position!). She is now a blogger/YouTuber/baker running the blog simply by christine and the organic cookie business @christinescookieco! She left us with her #1 for sustainable living: her 30 day rule! Write ...down all the things you need or are thinking of buying, and then set it aside to see if you truly cannot live without those items for 30 days. If after the 30 days you know it is a product you need you can purchase it from a sustainable source, but more often than not you will find the item is not a necessity! We hope you’ll join us next Thursday and at all our Net Impact meetings this quarter to hear from all our incredible speakers! Thank you @simplybychristine for being an example of how to drive your mission wherever you are!
