Hello Everyone! We have missed our patients so much! NFD will be back in office on normal schedule beginning June 1st. We are now seeing patients until then. Your safety is very important to us so we have added some extra precautions along with what we had already practiced. - PLEASE CALL from your car to CHECK-IN and our front office will coordinate with you when we are ready to bring you in. -AVOID bringing anyone extra to your appointments. Caretakers and parents may come... in to the room with you. -MASK will be asked to be worn by anyone joining you. -TEMPERATURES will be taken before brought back. -PLEASE if you are NOT FEELING WELL, let us know and reschedule. We look forward to seeing all of you again!

*** OFFICE CLOSURE*** Due to concern for public safety, Nelsen Family Dentistry will be CLOSED for at least the next two (2) weeks, effective immediately (March 16-27, 2020). This decision has been made based on the following recommendation of the California Dental Association: ... The California Dental Association strongly recommends that dentists practicing in California voluntarily suspend nonessential or non-urgent dental care for the next 14 days. As always, it is expected that dentists will continue to be available as needed for emergency care and services. CDA does not make this request lightly, and it is being done out of an abundance of caution during this historic public health emergency. As health care professionals, we all have a role to play in "flattening the curve" in order to follow sound, scientific public health advice to help limit infections and slow the spread of the virus. Please understand that these recommendations are evolving and may be extended and the timing of our closure may not be under our control. We will send a follow-up message when we reopen and we will contact you in order to reschedule your appointment(s). This makes it unnecessary for you to leave non-emergency messages on our answering machine. Rest assured that we will remain available to you during this closure on an emergency basis. There are exciting changes happening here at NFD! We are thrilled to announce a new dentist has joined our team. Dr. James Willis will begin practicing with us this January. We are excited for you to meet Dr. James and help us welcome him! Exciting new changes aren’t just for us this season. Dr. Tommy Farris has a new opportunity that he just couldn’t refuse. Dr. Tommy has been a member of our office family for more than 12 years, and has been an integral part of our team. We... will miss seeing his smiling face, but we couldn’t be happier for him.
