NHA's Coordinated HIV Services program was awarded $4,000 through the San Diego HIV Funding Collaborative from the Human Dignity Foundation for the 2021 grant cycle! The program plans to use the funding to increase group participation in mental health services.

Did you give birth between March 2020 and January 2021? We need your input! Help UCSF researchers pretest a survey about health and health care for birthing parents and babies. Earlier this year, we received $40,000 to provide shelf-stable emergency meals to east county senior centers operated by San Ysidro Health (SYH) in the event SDG&E initiates a Public Safety Power Shutdown (PSPS). We coordinated and executed our first delivery of 1,000 meals (5,000 pounds of food) to the designated centers in Campo earlier this month as power was scheduled to go off due to concerns with the Valley Fire. The coordination and delivery went very well, the SYH team was very thankful and grateful to receive the meals.
