Two of my vary first birdhouses from 1992, the birth of NeatTweets. Still have both of these and the little bridge for the big frogs. The wood came from what was the largest pig farm in Sonoma county. Ten large barns that I salvaged for for 2-3 years at least once a month. Ended up making 300-400 birdhouses and almost immediately I was building replicas of registered historical landmarks. Most also have a feeder as well as a nesting box and others have hidden but easy to access hiding places or multiple nesting boxes. Oh, masses of Pacific Coast Tree Frogs loved to sit on the chive.

Art & Soul is the next great event downtown Truckee. It's going to be a beautiful day so come on out from 1-5pm. Stop by and see what historical treasures I bring this year. Bring a lot of cash as I'll be having a fire sale of historical landmark buildings birdhouse size across from the Flying "A".

The first blizzard of 2019 is over. So what does it take to survive in the mountains after 36" of snow? Melted down this wet sierra cement equaled 7" of water in the three days of storms. Here our first California State Architect was testing his skills with this structure back in 1939. It's a #SunSnapShot Read a little more about it here. http://www.tdrpd.org/images/VetsBuildingBrochure2web.pdf
