Sunday night, Nov. 1st / 7:30-10pm Come join us for Trivia Night hosted by the one and only, @sarahgodfrey____! We will also be debuting our November Menu (decaf optional) so be the first to try our new seasonal drinks! Trivia will go down in the backyard and each table will be socially distanced, please don’t forget your masks. Be sure to get here at 7:30 so you don’t miss out on any of the fun! You’re also welcome to just swing by for a drink :) We’ll post our menu of cider, chais and specialty lattes on the morning of the first! Hope to see you there!

Meet Josh! He’s only been at Neat for the past two months but he’s already added so much to the team. He makes killer jam for our toasts and has fun ideas for seasonal drinks next month When he’s not dialing in espresso and chatting up customers, he’s probably off on a spontaneous trip, skating with friends, tasting different coffees or foraging ingredients to make something new. Be sure to say hi to him next time you’re in the shop!

Happy Sunday! Have you tried our almond butter toast? We use @ryegoods bread topped with housemade almond butter, honey, toasted almond crumble and fresh blueberries. Come on over and enjoy a slice or two in the backyard!

Have you met Anastazia? She’s been a part of the team here at Neat since July and has brought so much sunshine and joy to this space! When she’s not belting out songs and slinging drinks in the shop, she’s probably doing homework, watching Disney movies, taking stunning photos or grabbing coffee with friends. This girl’s got grit and big dreams and we’re just happy to be a small part in her journey. Raise your hand if you’d wanna have coffee with Anastazia!

Along with @canyoncoffee, we now have @dunecoffee back on our shelves! Finca Salaca is one of four farms owned by Luiz Salazar & Mari Cruz in the West Valley region of Costa Rica. Because of water scarcity in this area, honey processes like this one are common (be sure to ask a barista about honey process vs. washed.) With notes of dark chocolate, sticky sweetness and crisp red apple, this coffee is super easy to enjoy. And don’t forget, you can now enjoy a cup of coffee inside in one of these mugs! We’ve come a long way.. TODAY, NEAT IS 5! Five years ago, I timidly opened Neat Coffee in the lobby of a coworking space with 4 fold up tables and zero clue what I was doing. It’s been an incredible half of a decade and I couldn’t be more thankful to our wonderful customers and friends who have supported us along the way. I’m also forever grateful to the Neat team, past and present, who have worked so hard & have shaped this coffee shop into what it is today. Owning a business is a roller coaster of ups and downs and we’ve definitely had our share of challenges but this community has rallied around us time and again and the only reason we’re still going is because of you! Thanks for a great five years! We’re just getting started :) #thatsneat

In a strange turn of events, October 1st is actually the hottest day of the year, BUT we have indoor seating and flowing AC and plexiglass and pumpkin lattes and flowers on tables and masked smiles so, yeah. Life is good :)

Have you met Sami? She started at Neat right before everything got shut down so there’s a good chance you’ve never seen her without a mask. Sami is originally from Oklahoma and is currently a student at Chapman University. She has a strong sense of justice and is applying for law school! While not a California native, she and her boyfriend Diego, sure know all of the great restaurants and places to explore. Ask her about some of her favorite spots!

Have you tried our mocha? We make our chocolate ganache with vegan semi-sweet chocolate chunks and coconut milk. Then we melt a scoop of the ganache with espresso and pour in your choice of milk. If you’re vegan, try it with oat milk or our housemade almond milk! Delicious hot or iced :)
