New Direction Christian Academy Celebrates Black History Month. Every year, in honor of Black History Month, our students must read a book about someone in history, do a report on them, as well as dress in character and do an oral presentation. Today we heard from Dr. Martin L. King Jr., Jackie Robinson, Sojourner Truth, Jesse Owens, Nelson Mandela, and Garrett Morgan.
The Bookmobile came today and Josiah got his first library card! He was so excited!!
