So upsetting to hear that a client of mine whom I helped buy his home in Rough and Ready has no home left whatsover. Just thankful he got out safely and the fire did not get my other client's house next door! Now if I could fund a new purchase in Lake county, once that fire is under control, than that client will have a new, safe home!

There is nothing better when you leave the office after a long week of helping people purchase homes and refinance homes than to have your dad, also a Mortgage Broker but of 30 plus year, to tell you how proud he is of you! And then on your crazy Monday morning he then reminds you again! Thank you, dad. I learned from the best!!!!!!!

Today I looked back on my week and thought how great it is to know my team and I helped 4 different families by closing on 4 loans! One mother was able to purchase her very own home for her and her kids! Another family's refinance allowed them to puchase the building they leased for their business. A third family's refinance made it possible for them to get a new roof and solar while lowering their interest rate. And lastly, the forth family's refinance lowered their interest rate and allowed them to change the owner ship interests. Helping people is definately the best part of being a mortgage broker!

Mortgage rates yesterday were the lowest they have been all summer! I worked till 730/8pm last night and since 6am this morning! Have to give my best effort for my clients with the best solution or I can't sleep at night! Feeling good about today...time to help more people!

Katie Bianchi, Broker Associate of Northern California Mortgage. Katie graduated with honors from U.C. Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Katie spent her childhood attending open houses since both her parents had their real estate licenses. After college Katie was able to get her first glimpses of Residential Lending while assisting her father, a long time Mortgage Broker, at Bianchi Investments. Soon after, Katie worked in operations at a local lender where she... learned all aspects of Wholesale Lending: Underwriting, Doc Drawing, and Funding. Katie soon took her knowledge of both Retail Lending and Wholesale Lending and became an Account Executive for multiple top ten lenders in the United States. As an Account Executive it was her job to act as a liaison between Mortgage Brokers and the operations staff at the banks/lenders that processed and approved the loans. Therefore, Katie has been exposed to both sides of a Residential Mortgage transaction, the banks that approve the loans and the brokers that originate them. This profession required her to become an expert on a vast array of lending guidelines and products in order to be able to educate her broker clients and facilitate the approval and funding of their loans. Katie is known by her referral partners as the Dragon Slayer of residential loans. She can somehow accomplish what others deem impossible. She fights hard for her borrowers and does not give up easily. Due to her extensive experience with underwriting she normally can determine a solution for any problem that arises during the loan progress and is a great source of knowledge for new Realtors and First Time Home Buyers. Katie’s responsiveness and communication eliminates uncertainty for all parties involved. Due to Katie’s strong morals and ethics she always puts her borrowers’ needs and best interests first. Katie is currently teamed up with Northern California Mortgage DBA Northern Sierra Financial Services as a Broker Associate. Northern California Mortgage gives her Borrowers the feel of a Boutique Lender with the support of a larger company who is able to fund and back their own loans which gives Katie more influence on the speed and efficiency of the process and therefore, giving her borrowers’ more security.
