Welcome to the Humboldt Nature School. Open this weekend at the Redwood Acres Fair. Make sure to stop by when visiting the Fair, kids 15 and under are free all weekend.

Blue the blue tongue skink passed away in the night. Thank you for 21 years of faithfully tolerating us humans. Born at the Honolulu Zoo, I received him when only a few weeks old. He's visited with countless thousands of people and only bit one young girl that managed to capture his tongue. Totally deserved. He did father one baby, which is two years old now and still in my care.... Rest in peace my blue tongued friend. You will be missed.

Less than a week away from Nature Camp. Animal Wrangler week will kick off Monday. Spaces still available. A new week has been added to camp! Hands, Hearts and Minds will be from July 29-Aug 2. Kids will connect to themselves and others by working with the tools they were born with to do woodcrafting, tie-dyeing, music, yoga, and dancing!
