Do you love Latisse? We do too! It’s even available for purchase in our office. You can absolutely use Latisse after you’ve had permanent eyeliner but we ask that you stop using it at least 2 weeks prior to your procedure. Why? Because it makes your lash line more vascular and can cause you to lose color during the procedure. It is best to discontinue use 2 weeks before your procedure and not use it in between your first visit and enhancement visit. Unfortunately, the tattooing process involves stretching and repeated wiping on the delicate lash line. This can result in not only the loss of your extensions but can very likely take your natural lash with it. In order to achieve a beautiful result, your tissue needs to be smooth and free of glue and residual makeup. What do you need to do before your appointment? Not a whole lot! We ask that you avoid aspirin/ibuprofen for at least 2 days prior.
