Dear Parents, Here is some updated information regarding our opening for Essential Workers: This service is intended solely for Essential Working parents/guardians who must be on duty away from their homes. On the first day back of attendance, I will need to see proof that you are employed as a City of Sacramento Essential Worker. An employee badge is accepted as proof. ... There will also be a release form at the sign-in station regarding being an essential worker, parental responsibility, and understanding of COVID-19 exposure. We could also e-mail the release form in advance upon an emailed request. It was also suggested that we check your little ones temperature before attendance however we'll do that up to our discretion, and trust that you have taken these precautions before bringing your little ones to school. Please refer to this document by the California COVID-19 Response for further information about Essential Workers: https://covid19.ca.gov//EssentialCriticalInfrastructureWor I understand that having a little ones at home during this time can be tough, especially when you’re working from home. Dear Parents, We initially decided to close the school due to CCLD suggestions regarding COVID-19. However we we have been cleared to re-open at our discretion for parents with essential jobs. So we would like to support the essential workers and re-open for our valued parents with essential jobs, as we know how hard this must be for you all. We will be open starting Monday, March 23 2020. We only ask that you keep your little ones at home if they or people living at your r...esidence are exhibiting symptoms of the illness, and practice social distancing when running into other parents and students. Though we've thoroughly sanitized the school, we'll be taking additional precautions such as washing your child's hands as soon as they come to the school, continuing to sanitize high touched surfaces, and teaching students about how germs spread.
