Are you unsatisfied in your relationship? In your life? Do you know what your wants and needs are? Can we expect others’ to meet our needs if we don’t know what they are ourselves? Try a quick daily check in with these 6 questions: 1. How am I feeling today?... 2. What’s working? 3. What’s not working? 4. What do I need? 5. What am I proud of? 6. What can I let go of? See more

Mental health issues are rarely visible. You can’t always ‘see’ depression or anxiety like you see a broken arm. It doesn’t mean they don’t exist. It doesn’t mean it’s not debilitating. There’s been progress with ending mental health stigma, but we’ve got a looong way to go!! In honor of world mental health day, just know that I see you. You’re important and you matter! Take care of yourself. Also, it’s okay if you don’t want to do this alone. #therapy #endthestigma #callatherapist #normalizeaskingforhelp #newportbeachtherapist #talkitoutwithtash

I love a good To Do list as much as the next Type A person. But, man, does anyone ever feel like they’re constantly chasing a never ending to do list? Or do you feel defeated at the end of the day because you didn’t get as much accomplished as you’d like? I know I do. How often do you stop and think about what you DID accomplish in a day, or a week? Why do we put so much emphasis on what didn’t get done instead of what did? Here’s my challenge for you. Pause the To ...Do list and make a Ta Da list! What’s a Ta Da list? It’s a list of all the hard freakin work you’ve been putting in. Write it down. Take it in. And quit telling yourself you should’ve done more. Because I bet you’ve done a lot. Nothing kills motivation more than guilt trips. Reflecting back on your accomplishments and progress fuels motivation. Be your own cheerleader and stop beating yourself up! Let me know how you feel after making a Ta Da list. #yougotthis #newportbeachtherapist #lmft #orangecountytherapist #therapy #tadalist #motivation

Hi! It’s probably time I introduce myself, because it’s been awhile. I’m Natasha and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been practicing for about 10 years now. Time seriously flies when you’re having fun! I have a private practice in Newport Beach, CA. I used to work primarily with children and families, but I’ve become very passionate working with young adults. I see so much potential, hope and growth! I’m here for it. I love this job y’all! I’m a r...ecovering perfectionist, shopaholic, hip hop enthusiast, and lover of all things murder documentary. I thrive most when I am creating something. And I live for decorating. I find something insanely satisfying about watching a vision come to life. Party planning is my love language. I love connection and I feel that I’m pretty damn good at it. I hope that my clients agree. After all, if you aren’t connected with your therapist then what is the point? Okay enough about me. I would love to hear 3 things about YOU! Go...! #newportbeachtherapist #mft #orangecountytherapist #therapy

Ready or not, it’s back to school! While this can be a bittersweet time under normal circumstances, I think it’s safe to say there’s extra emotions this year. If you didn’t get to walk your kindergartener into the class and you’re feeling robbed of this milestone experience, I see you. If you are frustrated with virtual learning already, I see you. ... If your child is acting out more and your patience is thin. (It’s normal) and I see you. If you’re agonizing about whether you made the right decision to send your kid back or to not, I see you. (And guess what, you did make the right decision.) Allow yourself grace as you navigate this crazy time. You’ve done hard things before and you will again. Now excuse my while I go cry as I officially have a kindergartner! Omg! #yougotthis #backtoschool #therapy #lmft #newportbeachtherapist #talkitoutwithtash

2020 expectations vs. 2020 reality. What were yours? I hope you’re able to find the humor; even on the tough days. #yougotthis
