Napa Valley Ponds and Water Features

Today I'm working on these water features trying to get this property to pass inspection so it can sell. The inspector red-flagged the water features because they leaked and the pumps didnt work. I got them working and the place is ready to go. The real estate flips create a lot of work for me because it's hard to sell the house if the water features and ponds are in perfect running condition.

Were Coming to the end of the year the water lilies are about to start dying off but are at their Peak right now looking pretty cool!

I just finished up a consultation on this multiple section 35,000 gallon pond. Its going to take 20 hours of cleaning. After that I will install a 400 watt Viper UV clarifier, change the filter media from Sand to Pond beads, install an aeration system . Then add fish and plants and set it up on a monthly maintenance schedule.

Now that this Beast is all clean it's time for the fun part, to design -install the filtration and aeration systems . Then of course add koi fish after its stable.

I really didn't feel like going to the wineries to work Today . Because I don't want to be around alcoholics with compromised immune systems , They always try to talk to me . So I went and did a consultation out in the cuts instead ended up finding a big pond that needs to be cleaned and have a pump and filtration system designed for it, and a big Fountain and small fountain that needed to be cleaned . I figure I can hide out here for the next week or so while this is all going on and get down. The customer also started playing the doors really loud on their custom speaker system pretty cool!

I Revived this old Viper UV today -Installed a new bulb, flow control switch And had to plumb new housing for control switch to go in to . These are the most powerful uv's they sell. They use them for large Reservoir style ponds and fish hatcheries. Without them it's hard to keep Clearwater without using a lot of chemicals or having a really fancy filtration system .They use metal halide bulbs the cost for these units is anywhere between 3,000 - 15,000 plus installation . It looks like the parts would cost about $150 to make it. My retirement plan is to start my own UV company that will make similar units that are better, more efficient and cost less!$

I designed and built this custom submersible filtration system for Groth Winery today, I also installed a UV clarifier Inline in to some external Plumbing in the maintenance room . Some systems do not have have any external Plumbing or pipes large enough to add a canister filter so you have to design a submersible filter. Basically all the water has to be sucked through those Garden pots that have filter media in them. It keeps the water super clear and is easy to service!!$$

After work instead of sitting in the traffic in Jameson Canyon I install these pumps . It's not so hard so it's fun to do it after work people think I'm weird cuz I stay at the house so late but it's better than sitting in traffic!!!

Started a one-year contract on this 27000 gallon pond today going to be fun it's got big koi fish Turtles frogs water lilies.
