Happy Mother’s Day to all moms out there! And to those who have complicated relationships with their mother, or maybe do not have one, please know you are not alone #mothersday
From our club President @corinncook: All of the positions are voted upon, no one person is guaranteed an Officer position simply because they are currently an Officer. These votes will be held over a poll via zoom. I suggest that everyone that is interested in running for an Officer position prepare a 2-minute speech that describes what would make you the best candidate for that particular role. The positions for NAMI on Campus are as follows: * President (required to remain... a club on campus) * Treasurer (required to remain a club on campus) * Vice President * Secretary * Social Media * Marketing * Event Coordinator * Campus Liaison COME JOIN US FOR OUR LAST MEETING OF THE SEMESTER!! Officer elections will take place at the end of tomorrow’s meeting so make sure you join and vote!! See more
Every 73 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. And every 9 minutes, that victim is a child. Only 5 out of every 1,000 perpetrators go to prison. You see, we got a major problem here. It’s time to make a change to that. #denimday #awareness #mentalhealth #denim

HEY NAMI FAM! Hope your first week back with classes is going well so far. We are definitely in a strange position as of right now regarding the current circumstances, but we hope you all are still staying safe and healthy. Remember to practice self care to prevent burnout. Self care is super important! #mentalhealth #awareness#suicideprevention #nami #namicalifornia
Just a friendly reminder that you are not alone, and that your feelings are valid #mentalhealth
Hope everyone is doing well and is staying safe&healthy. These are very complicated times with places reopening and closing again, but remember you are not the only one going through this experience. We are all in this together. It’s not just you dealing with the confusion of why this, why that. The COVID-19 is still in our existence and cases have been increasing dramatically. Please remember to wear a mask when you are out in public, and to wash your hands thoroughly with soap. We hope you all are taking care of yourselves during this difficult time!
Remember to continue taking care of yourself during this time practice self care & stay safe and healthy :) #mentalhealth #selfcare #quotes
Let us all hope that the dark clouds of racial prejudice will soon pass away, and that in some not too distant tomorrow the radiant stars of love and brotherhood will shine over our great nation with all their scintillating beauty.
