FOREVER FOSTER PUPDATE: MR. BROWN Mr. Brown was surrendered by his guardian in August 2020. Despite the deep love his guardian felt for him and the other two pups that came along with, it was the best decision for all of them. Sometimes we need to ask for help and we all could use a reminder that there is nothing wrong with doing so. He originally was up for adoption, but after a checkup and monitoring him for a bit, it was decided that Mr. Brown should become a forever foste...r. Mr. Brown has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and heart failure. He is on multiple medications 2-3 times a day to keep him comfortable and happy. He was in need of a dental, but unfortunately the procedure is too risky, so Brown’s foster mom manages it the best she can. Foster mum had this to say: When Mr. Brown joined my crew, boy was he was crotchety! If anyone walked by him, he’d snap and let them know to back off! But to any human that came near him, he had love to give. After a bit of time in our home, all the other pups learned to give Brown his space. But then what happened? They started snuggling right along with him! Mr. Brown is one of those dogs that brings joy with him wherever he goes. He loves his meatballs (chicken with pills in the middle) and knows his name better than my own teenage child! He follows me wherever he goes and if you are kneeling down giving pets to the others, you better be sure to save a hand for Brown! Though his breath may be a tad bit stinky, we don’t care. We love Mr. Brown and are grateful for whatever time we have left with him. A HUMONGOUS thank you to Mr. Brown’s forever foster’s unwavering love towards him. It isn’t easy knowing that we won’t have them with us forever, but what other choice is there? These oldies deserve an awesome ending.
