TREATING INGROWN NAIL AT HOME Dear clients, ... You can use the following strategies to help treat an ingrown toenail at home: Take over-the-counter medications, such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen, to help with the pain. Try a numbing cream or spray. This will not treat any underlying infection, but it can help with the pain if there is a wound. Soak the foot in warm water several times per day. People can also add Epsom salt to help with the pain and swelling. Gently massage the foot and the toenail. This improves blood flow to the area, which may help with pain while speeding the healing process. Dry the foot after soaking it, and apply an antibacterial cream to reduce the risk of infection. Wear loose fitting shoes with open toes until the ingrown toenail heals. You should not cut a notch in the nail or repeatedly trim the borders of the nail. These strategies will not reduce the risk of ingrown toenails. Good luck and stay safe

Do they deserve a good treatment after long months suffered enough, crammed in tight winter boots ? By time the SPRING shoes hit the stores, our feet will be ready to be displayed. 1. Check for corns and calluses During the winter, people seem to neglect the feet, so corns and calluses should have been inevitable. Carefully examine your feet to check skin problems. If you have very thick, maybe even painful, corns and calluses, you should go to see a skilled pedicurist or dermatologist to get some proper treatment. 2. Schedule a foot spa. Foot spas are the most relaxing procedures that you can get done at our salon. After the feet are properly soaked, the next part of the foot spa is the exfoliation, which gets rid of all the dead skin cells. This is usually followed by a massage with an intensively hydrating foot lotion. You should try Nature’s Retreat Pedicure or Ultimate Indulgence Pedicure to experience all the procedures with all natural products. 3. Apply FOOT CREAM TREATMENT daily.
