Today is Juneteenth, the day we commemorate Black liberation. On June 19, 1865, news of the emancipation of the enslaved had fully reached the entire United States. Juneteenth is reminder that no one is free until everyone is free. Today we are not only fighting a global pandemic but we are also fighting systemic oppression against the Black Community. It is our duty to educate ourselves and fight for all those who have been been treated unequally by society. My Preschool does and will do everything we can to ensure we create a safe and equal environment for all of our students and their families. My Preschool supports Black Lives Matter. Photo by: ABC

Today on this Memorial Day, we honor those who have served our country. As we encounter challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we remember those who have sacrificed their all to protect us and our families. My Preschool would like to wish everyone a beautiful Memorial Day. As we all hope to enjoy our sunny weekend, we please ask that you continue to be safe in order to protect our communities.
