Greetings from Napa, I'm posting this in an effort to assist my wonderful niece, Katelyn. BREAKING! Video from David minutes ago of 747 supertanker to the rescue... FINALLY. Seen from top of our property looking southwest. David approximates the targ...et of this drop to be between Pritchard Hill & Atlas Peak. If you think you detect a hint of glee in his narration you're darn rightwe've seen this sort of air support out here for much smaller fires in years past but this is our first sighting of a supertanker in our vicinity since this week's hell broke loose Sunday night. Trimmed it to fit it here but David's closing remark after seeing the tanker off {back to base to refuel/reload} was a sober "Thanks a lot buddy." We second that. Let's hope this bodes well for today's outcome in all corners. #napafire #napavalley See more
