To say this summer has been memorable is an understatement. We completed an entire year of the SEEDS curriculum by First 5 & to celebrate all that the kids accomplished with a graduation party was an amazing way to start the summer! We added more kids to the My Little Sunshine Family & now we are soaking up the last little bit of summer before a huge group of them (8!!!) leave me & go off to "big kid school" while others are moving out of the country to start a new chapter in... their lives. A piece of my heart will always be with them. I love them all so dearly but I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my daycare where I will welcome a fresh group of babies to care for & watch grow up the same way I did with many of these kids that have grown up & moved on. Christmas season is here & that means fun Christmas crafts at My Little Sunshine Family Daycare!!! Hooray!

My main goal while your children are in my care is to meet all their needs physically, mentally, and emotionally. Their needs are met physically through outdoor play! They can swing, slide, run, and enjoy nature & just be a kid! Their needs are met mentally through arts & crafts & fun projects that make learning FUN! They can explore their creativity through coloring, painting, making (contained) messes that instills a love for learning at an early age! Their needs are met emotionally through friendships both with me & with the other kids. The love they have here shows them they're safe & are always wanted. It's tough to be away from mom & dad & sometimes just a hug or a story is just what they need to know it's going to be ok! A balanced curriculum is key!
