#MuttvilleOutnAbout Out in a bright and foggy day on the Great Highway-that’s a thing in San Francisco-multiple Muttville adopter Sherry was enjoying a leisurely stroll with her 14- year old alum, Truman. Always a pleasure running into our alumni living their best lives.
Sweet Chiweenie boy RADLEY was adopted by Megan & Paul in Oakland. Radley now has a Muttville alum for a doggie brother (fka Mozzarella!) and is enjoying the good life of walks, naps, and cuddles! Radley came to us when his previous guardian passed away and family members were unable to care for him. So glad we could offer him a great new beginning! Thank you, Megan and Paul!
Check out the newest members of the Muttville gang, just rescued...these seniors will be evaluated by the vet staff and ready to roll into new forever homes soon! Sound up! https://muttville.org/available_mutts
#ILoveMyMuttvilleDog Muttville's Mutt Manager, Jen, told Eggy that he's staying with her and Erik permanently! Meet Bubbies, Eggy Egbert, and Marcel! Jen said, "This is my 4th Muttville dog and my 3rd foster win! Eggy came from Sutter. He was surrendered by his guardian because they got a puppy and didn't want him anymore . He was my foster and got right in with my crew. I couldn't resist his irresistible squishy-ness and sweetness. He now is often found snuggling his new sibling Bubbies!"
Treasured Muttville volunteers, fosters, Mutt Guardians, and staff were able to reconnect yesterday at Muttville's Summer of Love picnic in Golden Gate Park! Despite the San Francisco fog, (it was warm!) it was so joyful for adopted & available dogs to be with all of us who attended. Here's a few happy photos!
#ILoveMyMuttvilleDog This sweet little guy, MASHED POTATO, has hit the jackpot with Tim and his partner Bobby. Tim is such a thoughtful, patient adopter and has been waiting for his perfect match since early December. Tim came to one of our adoption events before COVID hit, just a few months after his previous dog passed away suddenly. He said he left in tears knowing that he wasn't quite ready, but he fell in love with Muttville that day and has been a fan ever since! So excited for him to join the Muttville family with Mashed Potato! Thanks to the generosity of the O'Donnell family, Mashed Potato's adoption was sponsored! #ElisMonth

Boomer is handsome, friendly, and affectionate. He absolutely loves pets and will reach out with a paw to pull your hand toward him around for more. So clever! This super sweet boy can’t wait to join you for walks and explore your neighborhood. Boomer would like to be the king of his castle, soaking up all your love and attention. https://muttville.org/mutt/boomer-8624
#ILoveMyMuttvilleDog Adopter Karina is a Berkeley Shelter volunteer who recently transported Leda to Muttville! Leda needed a foster for a few days until she came to Muttville, so Karina and Jesse kept her for a few nights. Upon dropping her at our facility, they knew that they didn't want to let her go! Karina contacted the adoption team at Muttville and we set up our Zoom meeting as soon as we could! Here's a happy Valentine's Day photo! Thanks to the generosity of the O'Donnell family, Leda's adoption was sponsored! #ElisMonth
Success Story: Red Dear Muttville: It’s been nearly three years since I adopted our little mini-pin Red. The Northern California Wildfires were raging and we visited Muttville looking to foster a dog we wanted to help in the efforts to clear the shelters. It was a busy Sunday with lots of activity and here was this blind sweetheart who didn’t seem to be fazed by anything! It was instant love but I knew better than to adopt on the spot when I was looking to foster. I tried to get a friend to adopt her with no ... https://muttville.org/success_story/20210217-red
ADOPT ME AT MUTTVILLE! (San Francisco CA): Veronica (Shih Tzu | Female) Holy underbite, is Veronica cute! The pert little ears framing that sweet face, those big eyes and of course the underbite. This confident little white fluff knows what she wants, sashaying her way right into her favorite place: your lap! If your lap isn’t available, a sunny bed will do, but please provide her with some belly rubs. https://muttville.org/mutt/veronica-8608
ADOPT ME AT MUTTVILLE! (San Francisco CA): Opal (Terrier, Parson Jack Russell | Female) Opal is a sweet senior lady who is looking for a loving hospice home. ADOPT ME AT MUTTVILLE! (San Francisco CA): Tika (Chihuahua, Short Coat/Mix | Female) Tika, how are you so perfect? Is it your cuteness, with one ear up/one ear down, sleek coat and adorably curled tail? Is it your excellent lap sitting skills? Or is it your sweet personality? It’s all of the above and more! Tika loves her canine buddies as well as her human friends and can’t wait to make new ones! https://muttville.org/mutt/tika-8312
ADOPT ME AT MUTTVILLE! (San Francisco CA): Penny (Spaniel, Cocker/Mix | Female | 17 lbs (small)) Werk! Supermodel! Pretty Penny’s luxurious coat, long legs, and proud prance are sure to turn heads as you go for jaunts around town, but it’s her sweet personality that will win hearts! This lovely gal is friendly, gentle and gets along with other dogs: she’s a real catch. https://muttville.org/mutt/penny-8326
ADOPT ME AT MUTTVILLE! (San Francisco CA): Buckaroo (Chihuahua, Short Coat/Mix | Male | 7 lbs (small)) Buckle up because Buckaroo is here! Buckaroo would make the perfect work-from-home pal. Zoom calls are his favorite because he loves having a comfy lap to sit in and he’s always camera ready! In between meetings, Buckaroo will be your constant companion and would love to be wherever you are. https://muttville.org/mutt/buckaroo-8331
ADOPT ME AT MUTTVILLE! (San Francisco CA): Stanford (Pinscher, Miniature/Mix | Male | 14 lbs (small)) Stanford is accepting applications for early admission to his advance snuggling program. Initial questions: Do you have a lap? Will you let him sit in it? Do you enjoy kisses? This stellar lap sitter will teach you all he knows about cuddling and offer you kisses of encouragement (he even gives mask kisses; nothing will get in the way of his smooches!). Bonus points if you’re a fan of underbites and unique smiles, both of which he proudly sports. Adopt Stanford and you’ll never suffer from empty lap syndrome https://muttville.org/mutt/stanford-8324

#ILoveMyMuttvilleDog Are you ready for a true love story? On their very first date years ago, V.J. and Matthew came across Muttville along their walk and decided to come inside. They fell in love with the senior dog rescue and a little chihuahua named Taquito. Although it was only their first date, they really felt connected to each other because of Muttville and now years later, they are married, own a home and contacted Muttville to adopt their first dog together. LIL BIT stole their hearts with her soulful eye and sweet disposition. And when they met, she gave them kisses to seal the deal. Welcome home Lil Bit (now Milo) and Congratulations V.J. and Matthew!
