2021 MUSIC ON THE BEACH UPDATE One way or another, we are bringing LIVE MUSIC to North Lake Tahoe this summer! Not only do we have our Virtual Vibes programming ready to go, but North Tahoe Business Association staff is also excited and planning for the opportunity to host an in-person, LIVE Music on the Beach series at Kings Beach State Recreation Area this summer. Earlier this month, Governor Newsom announced that California is set to reopen on June 15, which means tha...t all industries across the state can return to usual operations with common-sense risk reduction measures such as masking and vaccinations. So what does that mean for Music on the Beach? Currently, NTBA’s plan is that if restrictions are dropped and it’s safe to go live, we will be hosting LIVE, IN-PERSON summer concerts. WoooHooo! We are ready for both our in-person and our virtual series so that we can pivot at any time. We are working hard to ensure our community not only has a safe live music option but also a safe summer. NTBA will continue to take all safety measures and guidelines very seriously, regardless of restrictions or not. And while our Virtual Vibes streaming series was a great success last year in keeping live music alive, we are really hopeful Music on the Beach will make an in-person appearance at the beach this summer.
