500 Live Streams! Congratulations to all, we are so excited to share that we have reached 500 live streams! Like many, when the live music industry shut down ...we were devestated. We tried this thing called live streaming, it started with 3 performances and has since evolved to a little over 500 performances in 48 cities across North America. From living room sets to garage performances we have seen it all, and we couldn't be more proud! Here's to 500 more! . . . . . . . . Sisters & Brothers, Now is the time for solidarity as we fight this global pandemic. It comes in many forms, whether it's enforcing social distancing between you and your friends, volunteering at your local food bank, or coming into work every day like our janitors, nurses, utility workers and many more. We're all in this together and we're going to get through this together. Our Labor Council has received an overwhelming amount of support in the recent weeks to serve worke...rs who have been most directly impacted by lay-offs and cancelled shifts. We thank each and every one of you. Here's an update on what we've been up to and how you can stand with workers ... COVID-19 RESPONSE - LABOR IS COMMUNITY Through the partnership between the Labor Council and Feeding San Diego we were able to serve over 500 families of the general public this past Saturday at SDCCU Stadium. We are thankful to our volunteers who showed up to help in this critical time of need. We are having another food distribution in partnership with the San Diego Food Bank this Saturday, 3/28 at SDCCU Stadium, 9449 Friars Rd, San Diego, CA 92108 beginning at 9 A.M for low-income working families. Since it is first come, first serve we highly recommend people to show up early. No walk ups will be allowed as we need to protect the health of our volunteers.

In response to inquiries regarding membership and dues: AFM Bylaws specify that individual Locals cannot reduce or waive their dues without IEB permission. The AFM International Executive Board will meet in early April to consider a Membership Dues policy to deal with COVID-19 shutdowns. Local 325 Offices and the Union Hall building are closed for an undetermined period.
