My partner in crime Cynthia Rothrock just told me that Century Martial Arts is holding these FB live seminars and the funds raised are going to support those fighting the virus. I believe it's under Black Belt Magazine so check it out!!! Very cool Century!!!!

Like A&E has it's own biography series, the Martial Arts History Museum is proud to have it's own #biography series to focus on our historical and significant a...chievers. These videos not only support the Museum, but they will be part of the future "#HallofFame Wall" at our new location as will the book. This way, long after we are gone, our history will be preserved for many generations. The following are our current and upcoming biography dvds. #Cynthiarothrock Michelle Manu Art Camacho Donnie Williams Leo Fong Gerald Okamura Al Leong Carl Totton See more

Today, we celebrate the "Father of Kung Fu in America," Ark Y. Wong. It was around 1959/60 that this man, who owned and operated a commercial school, became the... first Chinese kung fu teacher to admit and teach Non-Chinese students. He was born on Jan. 11, 1900 and died on his birthday, Jan. 11, 1987. Museum Hall of Famer Carl Totton made a donation of $100 on his behalf. If you were influenced or affected by Ark Y. Wong, please make a donation to the Museum to honor this legend. See more

MUSEUM "Collector's Item" SERIES SALE: (Inside Kung Fu Magazine, June 1990, Bruce Lee) As we talked about last week, the Museum receives boxes and boxes of vint...age magazines and books every few months. People generously donate the items to the Museum to help us raise funds. We scan them, save a few copies of each one for our archives and even get a few signed. Although we have over a thousand on sale here at the Museum for $5, not everyone knows about it. So, starting today, we will periodically scan and put one of the mags or books for auction here on facebook. We think this is a fun way to help the Museum and renew our past by looking at these cool mags. Bidding starts at $5 and must hit at least $10 in order for us to mail them to you. Only orders inside the USA is accepted. So here is the first mag, make a bid and by the end of today, the one with the highest bid will win. I will personally ship them out to you. You will be contacted at the end of the day, we will provide a paypal to make payment and off we go. So, who will begin at the regular cost of $5 for this vintage collection piece? (Condition, pretty good) See more

Museums 13.08.2020

The Museum will be closed all day today to prepare for Eric Lee's Christmas Party. We will re-open at 6 pm. PLEASE do not come before 6 pm because it is going to take all day to set up. I know it's fun to come early, but we need the time to set up. Thank you. Come to the front door only.
