Murrieta Stake Family History

The Stake leaders will be visiting each ward during the third hour this Sunday for a special Temple & Family History presentation. This is in preparation for our upcoming Stake Temple Day October 19th. We are inviting everyone to join us on Stake Temple Day in bringing a friend, family names, and spending the day in the temple.

For those who are scared of indexing because of the challenge of deciphering flowery old-fashioned handwriting... Here is an indexing project that is typed!

The dreaded day is here. R.I.P. to Zoning. It was fun while it lasted! Now we will need to switch our focus to Indexing and Peer Review.

There is a new feature to the Find Batches screen. An indexer has the ability to sort the projects in a number of different ways to make it easier to find the best indexing project to work on. See the screenshot attached.

Happy Sabbath day! We have been notified by FamilySearch that zoning will continue to be up this weekend. Zone while we can before the plug is pulled! Current zoning batches are from the early 60s, and the newspaper images are clear and easy to read. If you prefer indexing, there is a great beginner project that is easy to complete, and the batches are typed! (Gotta love typed indexing projects!) The termination of zoning has been delayed a few days. The Zoning Project Manager emailed, and indicated that zoning will remain available through the weekend. Go go go! Zone zone zone while we can!
