The yummiest danish rye bread is up for grabs in the SIP-shop. Bettina, a teacher and the ecologista @scandinavianschool makes these delicious loaves and we finally convinced her to let us sell it for her. This rye bread is vegan and has no white flour, solely rye and spelt (as a gluten sensitive person I can actually eat this without any issues!) it’s delicious and our favorite rye bread in the Bay! Tuesday at the hub and Yvette made a delicious big batch of carrot, ginger soup! Who doesn’t like chocolate dipped strawberries?? We made these ones with a bar of @hukitchen vanilla bean cashews bar. Kids can easily help making these! - Melt chocolate in waterbath (boiling water in a pot with a bowl or other pot inside and in there you put the chocolate bits so they don’t burn as they would easily in regular pan) - when chocolate is melted dip the washed and patted dry strawberry (keep the greens, it’s serves as a handle!) - put chocolate dipped strawberr...y on a pan covered with baking paper (I forgot about this part and put them straight on the plate and the half the chocolate will get stuck on the plate once you lift the strawberry) - put the whole pan in refrigerator for at least 20 min - Remove from pan and put on a nice plate - Enjoy!!! #mumsagram #mumsaitsallgood #organic #earlsorganic #chocolate #strawberries #easydesserts #hukitchen

Week 5 of SIP and we’ve delivered over 150 donated bags to families in need, elders, educators, healthcare workers and self-employed! We currently have over 160 more names on our list but they’re not funded for, and while Mumsa will make sure everyone will get a bag, any donations, big or small are much appreciated! In these challenging times, news like the PPP grants running out of money before our bank had time to process our application are news that makes me feel it would... be easier to give up. Have the whole team file for UE and open up again in the fall when schools are hopefully back up and running. But then we receive the most heartwarming and appreciative emails, handwritten cards, images of meals made and sweet texts from people who have received our donated bags and I know that we have to keep going. When we look back at this time in a year or two I want to be able to say that we did everything we could to provide for our communities.
