Rumor control here... somebody has been circulating a rumor about my closing up and retiring. Happy to say this is 100% FALSE! I'm going to be here helping people as I have for some 56 years ago when my first job was showing people where the bathroom was. After 103 years of friendship and service, we're not about to do any different. ;-)

We give families a slection of over ONE HUNDRED caskets from $525 for a non-sealing 20 guage steel casket and upward. At Mumaw Funeral Home, you do not have to spend an enormous amount to show your love and respect.

Did you know that, many times, the greatest expense for a funeral can be the casket? While many "arrangement counselors" may well be in fact salespersons who might even be on commission, you will not find that here at Mumaw Funeral Home.

Mumaw Funeral Home has been owned and operated by my family now for over a century. But what does that really mean when it comes to serving you? First, our family’s roots here actually go back before the turn of the 20th Century as ranchers. We have a stake in this Valley and its families. There is one constant we have seen in the century since we became the area’s first funeral home. This is the kindness and thoughtfulness of the families who trust our family at one of the m...ost important times of their lives. Being family owned and operated, we know that it is the families that we are answerable to and have to strive to please to the best of our abilities. The families are who have kept us here all of these years and allowed us the honor of serving them. Personally, I wouldn’t be able to work for a corporation which pushed sales above people. I wouldn’t last in such an environment very long as I have been brought up to try to find ways to save people money, NOT it to try to get more out of them to meet some financial goal or quota. When a family calls for assistance, you’ll get me, 24-hours a day and 7-days a week, not an answering service unless, of course I’m helping a family during a funeral, but even then, I frequently check my phone for messages and return calls at the first possible moment that circumstance allows.
