It’s this little man’s 6 month birthday today Aren loves tasting new foods, riding in his hiking backpack, and has 1 whole tooth! I’ve had 6 months to get to know this tiny human, who is still so brand new. 6 months of becoming a mother.... 6 months of saying goodbye to the old me, the old us, and 6 months of welcoming in the evolution of self. 6 months of redefining my womanhood. 6 months of breaking down, and rebuilding. And breaking down. And rebuilding. 6 months of near isolation from people. 6 months to seriously evaluate my priorities. I’ve decided that it’s time to bring my time with social media to a close. As we move away from California to start our new life in the PNW, my time will be best spent nurturing and nourishing myself and my family. We are people who crave being immersed in deep nature, and couldn’t be more excited embarking on this new journey. I’d love to stay in touch, so text or call. Really, please do it, because most people don’t. Let’s try to be humans who stay in touch outside of all this.
