Visit Mt Shasta

Unfortunately, due to Siskiyou County moving into the purple tier, we are forced to cancel all Winter Magic events, including the Hometown Holiday Light Parade... and tree lighting festivities. We are still moving forward with the Chamber of Commerce Winter Magic Tree Decorating Fundraiser. Businesses and individuals are encouraged to sponsor a tree to represent your business, organization or family. Make a fun family holiday memory and decorate a tree together! All proceeds of this fundraiser will go towards keeping the Visitor Center's doors open. We have lost all funding from the City and have been forced to limit our hours of operation. Help light up the city plaza and spread some holiday cheer within our community!!

The city Christmas tree is in place for the holidays! We would like to thank Shawn Merkle and Roll 'N Rock Construction, Sousa Ready Mix and Mt. Shasta Public ...Works for getting, transporting and setting the tree. We are extremely grateful to Richard Coots and the Mt. Shasta Ski Park for donating this beautiful tree to the community. A special thank you to Michael Burns for all the the time, energy and coordination needed to make this happen! It's starting to feel a lot like the Holidays!!

Pumpkins are rolling in for the Mt. Shasta Chamber of Commerce children's pumpkin painting/carving contest fundraiser! Judging and raffles are being held on Wed...nesday.
