Keep your head up and your heart open. And then let whatever is happening... happen. You can create the calm in the center of the storm. After much consideration, it's with a heavy heart that I share the decision to not continue the MPS studio lease in 2021. The last in-studio sessions at MPS will be December 19. I thank every one of you -- instructors, clients, and friends -- for your time and the trust you've put in MPS these past 12 years, and I'm grateful for the positive... and supportive environment we created together. We will see what the new year looks like, and whether it will be possible to open in a new location in late spring. I encourage you to continue your fitness journey the way that fits your life: with the virtual classes through Central Core, the CORE streaming workout platform, or Facetime sessions. What have I learned and how do these two photos from 12.5 years apart tell that story? The top photo was taken the week I opened MPS - my Pilates studio! It was a new adventure - 25 years old - in the middle of the Great Recession. I looked out to the window to see what opportunities would be let in. 12.5 years later, the pandemic hit us all hard and difficult choices had to be made. With hair much longer - the sun shines on my face, I am more flexible in my decision making, ...more balanced in what is meaningful to me, but still a small speck in the great vast ocean. What another 12.5 years brings I have no idea, but I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and support your health and wellness goals!
