DRIVER (Part-time) Needed!! Under the direct supervision of the Programs Manager the Driver is responsible for delivering prepared meals to senior center dining sites, distributing meals to volunteers for home-delivery routes and / or delivering meals directly to home-bound seniors. Additionally, the Driver is responsible for mileage logs and reporting necessary vehicle maintenance and/or repair. Food delivery Sites & Home Delivered Routes (HDM)... Load hot and cold food containers for sites and home-delivery routes- Check with kitchen staff to confirm that all items for meals/delivery are accounted for. Load vehicles as required based on route Deliver meals to designated senior centers, HDM distribution sites and/or directly to homebound seniors (Generally in company vehicle; but occasional use of personal vehicle may be required) Pick up, deliver and return inter-office mail, menu/temperature sheets, kitchen supplies, donation boxes and food containers as necessary QUALIFICATIONS: Valid CA driver’s license; clean DMV print out; proof of insurance required (for Driver position) Effective communication skills required: must enjoy working independently and with others, especially volunteers and seniors Must be able to stand unassisted for a period of 8 hours Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly HOURS: This is a non-exempt, part-time position. Varies Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except Holidays) - Hours vary with specific assignment Job Types: Part-time Suisun City, California
