We are sad to announce that due to COVID restrictions, we have found it necessary to cancel Enduro Mayhem and the fireworks show. We will reschedule both when our state opens up again. Thank you all for your continued support and understanding.

We would like to thank all of you that came out to race Saturday. Everyone had a great time and the track was wonderful. We had a special treat Saturday night, Koa Crane brought his Winged 360 Sprint car out to do some laps and boy was it impressive. He's a great driver and put down some fast laps and to think, Koa is only 14! We look forward to having him back. Our winners are as follows: In the Mini Division, Ross Vige from Orland took the win in the Heat Race and Troph...y Dash. Our own Ricky Berry pulled off the win in the Main Event. In the Hobby Stock Division, Tressen Smith, now representing Hayfork, took the win in the Heat Race and the Trophy Dash. He almost got the win in the Main Event but had a mechanical breakdown in the last lap leading to Freddie Leeper of right here in Hayfork to with the Clyde Cordell Memorial Main Event and boy was he excited. This division put on a heck of a show all night with some very exciting racing. We want to give a big round of applause for our rookie driver, Doug Gritts. In the Sport Modified Division, Tressen Smith took the win in all three races. Joe Short of Weaverville was out there making a run for the checker but just wasn't able to get there. We had a couple of Karts and Sean Green of Redding took the wins in the Trophy Dash and Main Event. This was his first time at our track and we thank him for making the drive up. Last, but not in the least, we had our Enduro class. JD Hudman took the win with Larry Richardson in 2nd place with Kyle Thurman taking 3rd. These guys are always fun to watch.

ATTENTION - The fireworks show has been cancelled. We understand the extreme danger and do not want to put extra pressure on our fire fighters. Good news, we have rescheduled the show to New Year’s Eve along with the Enduro Mayhem race and maybe some other exciting events. Thank you!

MVR Family, we have an update for the September 12 race. We have additional confirmation from the county that we must limit pit entry to the driver, up to 4 pit crew members per car and volunteers only. We are going to do our very best to Live Stream the races and, of course, the fireworks are visible from many places in town. We apologize for these restrictions. When we can get back to normal, we plan on having some very special events to thank all of you for sticking with us.

Mountain Valley Raceway 09.07.2020

Hey Mountain Valley Raceway Family, we have some news. The State Fire Marshall of CalFire has approved our application to give you a great fireworks show during our September 12 race. While we have not been approved to have the grandstands opened, we have a number of spots available in the pits (with social distancing guidelines) and the fireworks can be seen from Morgan Hill Road and along Highway 3. We will be taking extra precautions to assist the CalFire crew to make... sure the fireworks show goes off on in a safe manner. If you have any questions, shoot us a message and one of us will get right back with you. Thank you so much for your continued support.

Mountain Valley Raceway 01.07.2020

We here at Mountain Valley Raceway are so very proud to announce that the September 12th race will be known as The Clyde Cordell Memorial Race. As most of you know, Mr. Cordell was instrumental in bringing dirt track racing to Hayfork. The Memorial race is normally held during the fair race, however circumstances being what they are, we are holding on September 12. Bring your cars out to make this a great one for the family. (We are still awaiting spectator approval from the county).
