On International Woman's Day, a project was launched calling 100 WOMEN to gather donations for 100 water systems - thus getting ONE MILLION PEOPLE ACCESS TO 10 ...years of clean water by Global Water Day in a month! I originally went on to donate 50$. I figured I can forgo a couple lunch dates this month and put my 50$ to give 100 people clean water for 10 years. Then I realized that we have this amazing community of WOMBYN, MEN, Sacred Water bearers, priestesses, Witches, Birth workers, mothers, fathers, dreamers, activists, lovers.. and that we can totally help these beautiful organizations reach their goal of finding 100 women team leaders. So I signed up The Gaia School of Healing to gather a team of 100 donors, 100 water systems, one million clean water systems to those thirsty, those in need. And now I am gathering my crew of awesome Clean Water Magick Makers - YOU! <3 880 million people in the world have no access to clean water. The water we flush our toilets with is cleaner then the water they cook with and drink. Millions of people die from water born diseases. This problem is exacerbated as 85% of the world’s population lives in the driest part of the planet. OUR GOAL IS TO GIVE 1 MlLLION PEOPLE ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER by Global Water Day, March 22nd. We are nature. When nature thrives we thrive. Yet, the existing legislation has failed miserably in so many ways, that in the last 40 years it allowed us to ext...inguish 50% of all species on Earth. This year we have an historic opportunity to give nature (our Mother Earth) a chance. The Heads of State of 195 countries will attend the most important global meeting on climate change. It’s now or never! Global warming, water pollution, over-fishing, deforestation of jungles and forests, the mass extinction of animal species, are just some of the consequences that nature is suffering. This is legal because nature is only an object under the law- just like slaves, women and indigenous people used to be. Either property or fair game. This is why it’s impossible for us citizens to protect nature using the law. The laws that we have are not enough to meet the challenges of our time. We need a change. Recognizing nature’s rights might be our last chance to survive. Human rights and nature rights are two sides of the same coin. Bolivia presented the Universal Declaration for the Rights of Mother Earth to the UN in 2010. This year we have a once in a lifetime opportunity, when heads of State will meet during the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris this December. We need less talk and more ACTION!!
